Canadian courts are unlikely to enforce custody and access orders made outside of their jurisdiction. If such orders were made when children were not in the jurisdiction of the court that awarded the order, proper service was not executed or proper responding material was not filed, then courts are very unlikely to enforce a foreign court order.
