Imputation of Minimum Wage for a Payor Receiving Social Assistance

Social assistance does not automatically nullify the claim for child support as courts may impute income on the payor who receives social assistance. In Butcher v. Varela, the court imputed minimum wage income on a payor who received social assistance.
