The following factors supposedly predict divorce:

 

1. The Higher the cost of engagement and wedding, the more likely a divorce;

2. The longer a couple has been together the less likely they are to get divorce;

3. The more age difference, the higher likelihood;

4. the quality of communication between the spouses;

5. Differences in the Cosmo-economic background.
