In family law proceedings, reciprocal claims are made for imputation of incomes of spouses to make a determination of support obligations. In the recent Superior Court decision in Pey v. Pey (2016 ONSC 1909), the court imputed income on the husband but refused to impute income on the wife who was making reasonable efforts to be employed gainfully.
