In the Webster v. Burrough (2016 ONSC 1603) decision, a party sought sole possession of the property that she bought under joint tenancy solely to obtain mortgage on the property.  The other party did not make any contribution towards the property except for one mortgage payment. The court held that this was a case of unjust enrichment which required the transferring of the home solely in the name of the party who contributed largely towards the house.
